Oh, so NOW they notice us? Now that they want us to do for Hillary what we do for Bernie....

all of the sudden we are getting praise.

While I may hold my nose and vote for Hillary if I have to in the GE because she scares me less than Trump
there is NO WAY in Hell that I will donate, or take time off from my home based business to volunteer my time for her....
especially since day one they have insulted & lied about me in every way possible! I've been called a Bernie Bro; a racist; a xenophobe; a sexist; told I had a special place in hell.... the irony in all of this is that I am a 60 year old Woman with a Latino grandfather, so all of these insults directed at me has done nothing more than piss me off to no end!!
They even call us Bernie Bros in the same article where they are wanting us to be online warriors for her

So sorry Hillary it is NOT going to happen. Bernie supporters have won the online war but don't even think for one second that is going to transfer over to you.
-----------------------------------------------------------
Before you read this crap - let's take a minute to celebrate! They are estimating there are NINE MILLION of us online Bernie supporters are amazing
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
excerpts..much more at link....

Bernie Sanders’s Online Foot Soldiers Weigh Their Next Campaign

No sooner had Senator Ted Cruz of Texas exited the Republican primary on Tuesday night than Hillary Clinton’s partisans on social media began calling for Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont to follow suit.

Sanders supporters answered those calls with a hashtag that quickly started trending on Twitter: #DropOutHillary.

With his victory in Indiana, Mr. Sanders seems all but certain to remain in the race for at least another month, taking his insurgent presidential campaign to the California primary on June 7. But there is one thing he will definitely leave behind if he ultimately abandons the Democratic nomination fight: an army of online foot soldiers unmatched in size, influence and capabilities, more than ready to join the next battle.

The only question is whether that battle will involve Mrs. Clinton.

According to Personal Democracy Media, which studies the intersection of politics and technology, roughly nine million Sanders supporters have organized through hundreds of Facebook pages, Reddit forums and Slack channels. And Mr. Sanders’s digital corps is not some loose network of supporters informally sharing articles and videos. It is a driving force behind his campaign, soliciting tens of millions of dollars in donations an average of $27 at a time, routinely mobilizing volunteers to perform impressive feats of organizing, and developing cutting-edge technology to aid Mr. Sanders’s run.

If Mrs. Clinton can harness even some of the power of this group, it could provide an important lift for her in a bruising general election in which social media is certain to play a prominent role. It not only would help her reach younger voters, among whom she has performed miserably in the primaries, but could also fortify her for the digital trench warfare she can expect if she faces the Twitter-adept Republican favorite, Donald J. Trump, in the fall.

But Mrs. Clinton’s place at the forefront of her party’s establishment could make her a tough sell to an online community whose members often identify themselves as revolutionaries more than as Democrats.

“The value of the online army he’s built should not be underestimated,” Stephanie Cutter, a former deputy campaign manager for President Obama, said of Mr. Sanders’s followers. Whether that army chooses to rally behind Mrs. Clinton, she added, depends largely on Mr. Sanders: “How and when does he endorse Secretary Clinton, and what type of leadership role is he going to play to bring his supporters along?”

“It’s not an army, it’s a swarm,” said Micah L. Sifry, a co-founder of Personal Democracy Media. “They’ve flocked to Sanders in response to the moment of opportunity he seized in the last year, but as the primary comes to its conclusion, they won’t be commanded by Bernie or any other general.”

They have already demonstrated their unruliness, with the rise of the so-called Bernie Bros, known for aggressive online harassment of Mrs. Clinton’s supporters. And though Mr. Sanders’s prospects have dimmed, the anti-Clinton rhetoric from some of his backers has grown more heated.

Of course, the more willing Mrs. Clinton is to incorporate some of Mr. Sanders’s policy positions into her campaign, the more success she will have wooing his supporters. At least up to a point.

“She can win some of them with honey, but if she tries to command them, they’ll just sting her,” Mr. Sifry said. “As swarms may do.”

May 2016

in which Sanders supporters will eventually be willingly folded into the Hillary fray.

People who write drivel like this are clueless about the paradigm shifts that have happened within the Democratic party; and also within politics in general.

It's now Establishment vs. Anti-Establishment. The corruption and horrific policies of establishment candidates (in both parties) has been outed. We will no longer just "fall in line". We're looking for candidates who aren't corrupt and beholden to corporate interests. And they have to actually give a shit about the middle class.

In 2008, the anti-establishment, activist portion of the Democratic party went for Obama. The Establishment (Hillary) types were talked over to Obama's side. So much has happened in the last eight years. The chasm between Anti-Establishment/Establishment is much, much deeper as political corruption has worsened. The screwing over of the middle class and the big party of corruption between dirty politicians, corporations, powerful interests and millionaires is on full display.

The cross over of the Bernie/anti-establishment voters to Hillary is just not going to happen like it happened with Obama. Anyone who so blind to the differences between now and 2008--has no business writing about or commenting on politics. They don't have a clue.

was the inspirational candidate, he was the candidate that was motivating the voters so it was easier for supporters of other candidates to transition to him.

In 2016 that candidate is Bernie. Hillary is not motivational at all. If Bernie drops out, the motivation will be lost because his voters have nowhere else to go; they may transfer that motivation to down ticket candidates but it will not automatically transfer over to her.

I'm not saying it as good as he did, but how true is that?!

if they think they're going to convince anyone that any of that is actually going to happen. There is
no Jedi mind trick strong enough to convince Sanders voters to switch their enthusiasm and support
to HRC. It's wishful thinking on their part and I hope they aren't holding their breath.

Her one and only selling point is that she's not Trump. Period. End of story. And it's not enough.

Obama was the last clothespin-on-the-nose vote for me. I just can't do it anymore. The real thing is here
and even without her tons of baggage Clinton fatigue is too strong. I know I'm not alone.

The way HRC acted towards Obama in '08 combined with her SoS shenanigans, the Clinton Foundation
pay-for-play, email-gate, two FBI investigations, leaning on civil rights activists to suggest Bernie didn't
walk the walk back in the day when he so obviously did. That was so slimy and it obviously came from
her camp so she can kiss my vote good-bye on that dirty trick alone.

The scandal-plagued neocon is going to have to go after disaffected Trump voters because the left knows
her too well and we're not going to get played yet again.

No. Bad talking point reused from 2008, with the sole intent to marginalize a voting block. Even I was called a bernie bro when I tried to raise a policy discussion. So no way, not now, not ever. First, don't run back to your abuser. Second, don't eagerly do the grunt work for anyone that has never shown a willingness or respect to do themselves. The entire conversation from now until November will be we must stop Trump. If you're not helping Hillary you're not stopping Trump. It's your fault letting Trump win. Trump is evil. Trump would ruin the country. Even republicans are scared of Trump. Trump is like Hitler. How can you support Trump (by not donating, volunteering and voting for Hillary?) Forget policy. It's all "No Trump!" from now on.
Will that win over Bernie supporters? Maybe not. But it might scare enough independents, and 'reasonable' republicans. Who knows? Haven't you already had friends resigned to Bernie's loss stare at you aghast at the idea you might not fall in line and put your support behind Hillary?

She has her own candidate, should we not be able to get Senator Sanders, I would think. The people I worked with were generally aghast at the past behavior of Wall Street and the investment banks, and massively derisive at the non-release of Secretary Clinton's transcripts of her Goldman Sachs speeches. They were appalled at the destruction in Libya, and subsequent creation of a refugee situation, and ISIS infestation (and not buying into it being President Obama's operation). And of course there's the IWR she voted for. Etc.

So I wouldn't count on much support from that group of phone bankers and canvassers.

Just because of a royal decree from an entitled Multimillionaire queen of the Oligarchy has issued such a decree from her majesties court.

They must be pretty stupid to think I would - after the kicked me out of the party (without my knowledge, request, or even a notification that they were going to change my affiliation from Democrat to NPA) just to purge me from the NYS primary rolls disallowing my first vote in the primary since I joined 37 years ago.

In all that time the only election I missed was in 2002 because I was in the hospital, not only did I vote every two years straight ticket for them, but I even voted in every one of the small local elections in-between.

They treated my loyalty like toilet paper and wanted me to become an Independent, well I will stay the Independent you've made me, be careful what you wish for Hillary I took the hint when the party kicked me out and will only vote for good candidates no matter the party, since neither Hillary or Trump are good candidates neither meet my brand new criteria, if the party wants my vote in any election, run good candidates, not ones you consider evil but slightly less evil then the other candidate. For this presidency, run Sanders if you want my vote!

Oh and my efforts will also go to getting rid of the likes of DWS and any other super delegate that has shown their Third Way colors in this primary season. Their chains of being beholden either need to be broken or they need to be removed from office and or stripped of their status within the Democratic Party.
