C'mon in, we're just celebrating Bernie's unbelievable Madison, WI speech. 
if I spoke up more, but I do tend to mind my manners and keep my cards close to my vest in order to avoid the ban hammer.
But then again, I was making batter this morning and, after cracking the egg, threw the insides down the garbage disposal and the shells in the batter so I may not be thinkin' right. 
I'm an old original war protesting, dope smoking, rabble-rousing hippie. Here in this place I think I can safely let my freak flag fly. 
As I said, I tend to stay low-key in the main forums because I like DU and I don't want to get banned like so many of my good friends have been.
But, welcome, either way.

We were at the inauguration and celebration of our newly elected progressive Democratic mayor, so I missed the excitement here. GD
has grown a bit more contentious than I like, so I'm glad this group is here.
