Just a thought about how Sanders staying in helps the movement...

I posted this in a reply to a thread in GDP, but I believe it's worth people here thinking about:
The Big "Democracy for the People" Project Bernie initiated is helped by his staying in.
Sanders gets to demonstrate where and how strong the support is for anti-Neoliberal Democrats.
Sanders also gets to keep expanding and refining his database re the support of those people... in all 50 states and the territories.
The knowledge gained by staying in will help the Big Project organize to be a force in the 2018 mid-terms.
If people would stop being myopic looking only at party loyalty for the Nov GE, and just pause for a few minutes to look at the political landscape, they'd notice what is already obvious:
-MANY- of the most easily turned Republican Congressional seats are in the non-urban counties that have gone heavily for Sanders and are in states that were won by Sanders... for example, just like Wisconsin.
Building a movement that can and will win those seats -IS- the "Big Project", and it is important to the Party and to Sanders supporters. Revealing where and how strong the anti-Neoliberal democrats are in the remaining primaries and caucuses is critically important to actionable plans for the 2018 midterms.
I'm not at all surprised Sanders is going to stay in until the end. It's exactly what the Big Project's leader needs to do with the leverage he's created in a very very remarkable campaign.
