Criticism is part of the process and in most cases I'll allow those posts to stand and give others a chance to refute them. However, if they contain bullshit, nitpicky slurs (Bernie groping a model's butt - I'd have hidden that one If I could) or lies, or if they come from a wingnut source, out they go. But I'll do that for posts relating to both candidates. I don't ever hide just on the basis of who's being favored or criticized.

The jury system on DU sucks - but deciding in advance that you're going to hide something only makes it worse.

i thought it was too many on my ignore list, so I cut it by half. Still no jury duty but a lot more annoying OPs.

I'm blocked from the Hillary group... I was #758, a little late to the party. I replied to someone with the difference between socialism and democratic socialism.... all factual and no snark; cause it SEEMED like they needed some information. But they didn't, and they didn't like it, and I was blocked. ha.
