I made a rainbow Bernie 2016 button a week or more before the Pride Festival weekend. I didn't even know about the Pride Festival or rather I wasn't thinking about it. I wanted a button that said Bernie to me you know what I mean. So, I thought rainbow coalition, I put a white peace sign on it, and Bernie 2016, tada rainbow button. I wore it all weekend canvassing for Bernie at the festival it was great times. Sorry bout the long side note. I just don't think rainbow automatic flaunting.

Are you selling them?

They are super easy to make. I got a wooden circle at Michael's (craft store), I already have a lot of acrylic paint from other projects, painted a rainbow on it, painted the white peace sign, and Bernie 2016 tada. Oh and I got pins to super glue to the back.

Or a straight line. So, if you decide to sell them, please let me know!

I will be able to make one in a couple of days. Tomorrow I have errands and a meeting in St. Paul. I can't wait to report what I saw in Madison.

I wish I was there. But, I think it was better to stream than make a 6 hour trip there and 6 hours back. I am jealous of people who have the time energy and money for gas to do that. It really was great watching it online, I did a lot of that for the OWS events as well, when I couldn't go in person. I talked to people from NY to California and watched in horror some of the live events where the police got out of control, it was very frightening.

I went to just one Occupy event here in Chicago and regret not becoming more involved.

I am with you there, on money, gas etc. When you're younger it's easier to hitch a ride, stay on someone's floor, etc. When you're old and broke, it's just not the same

Being broke isn't near the adventure it was when I was younger.
