It really must be tough to keep it from going to their heads.

Listening to the crowd tonight in Madison, WI chanting Bernie, Bernie, Bernie . . . 10,000 people chanting his name. I think perhaps it takes a candidate like Bernie. A mature candidate who is quick to remind us that this is not about Bernie Sanders, it's about the American people having the conversation, coming together, and taking back their government from the oligarchs.

I can imagine why personal advancement to the highest levels of elected government can become such a driving force. It must be absolutely intense. I can see why it is usually a narcissist who seeks election to the Office of the President.

I'm glad we have a candidate who defies convention and isn't at all about Bernie. We have a candidate who I imagine to have said, "Screw it . . . If nobody else is going to be the voice of the people, I guess I'll be the guy to make it happen. I'll be the guy to get the people working for the issues of the people."

I think they are going to be fine. I can see that Bernie's website is going to be overwhelmed with people signing to volunteer again. If people do volunteer this way they will need to be patient or find a Meet Up group in their town.

I was shushed whenever I said anything
Every point Bernie made was not only agreed to, I was asked afterwards why things were not the way Bernie proposed already, because they were the right and logical things to do.

He said it was obvious that Bernie really really really is sincere.

Bernie's age is not even on the radar of the Reddit folks. 54,832 (today) Bernie subscribers to 301 HRC subscribers, they do not hate Hillary, she just represents Wall Street to them, and I do not think they will even vote if Bernie is not the nominee. For better or worse. That's not a threat, that's an observation.

Looks like MSNBC streamed Bernie's speech, too.

Funny aside - he said that he had already heard and discussed a lot of Bernie's stuff, and I said that campaign speeches are sort of like concerts, the same message needs to get out to everyone, and in the "olden days", we did not have the equivalent of "cell-certs", we just had sound bites and maybe transcripts, "you had to be there" sort of thing. I am not a speech-listener any more, not all the way through, not for anyone, and I was surprised at how intently grandson listened.
