My partner is a Sanders organizer at both the state and local level. However, He is not a DU member. So, I am going to be the link between the DU Bernie Sanders Group and our local group via the local Sanders group facebook page. Our local group is the second largest on our state! One of our members was interviewed by the Washington Post in a recently published article in the MSM!

I am very excited and hopeful about the Sanders campaign!

I think I saw him first on the Ed Show back in '07 or '08. Been a fan since. Will vote for him as well.

I just checked my account and saw the I will have been a member of DU for six years in a few weeks. I was here for two or three years before I finally joined. I come here everyday and rec a lot because someone has usually already expressed thoughts similar to mine. I read posters who I respect and ignore others who I don't. I have posted more in the last few months than ever before. I am a lifelong liberal Democrat and for the first time in many years, I am excited by a politician. I think that Bernie is our last hope of saving what is left of our democracy.

I was invited to join our local North Staters for Bernie (CALIFORNIA) facebook group a few weeks ago, added 30 members and we now have almost 400! Went to the first meeting a few weeks ago, joined the Strategy Committee for our group, signed up on Bernie's volunteer list to do almost anything and everything and can't wait til Bernie sets up campaign headquarters in California! Tomorrow evening I will work on registering people to vote at our music in the park.

I had been hoping he would run as I agree with his stance on almost all issues, but am especially grateful for the work he has done on behalf of veterans!

I have been without internet for a few years while I worked on a vegetable farm, but am now starting my own and am glad to be back on DU. I am really glad my user name was still valid!

WoW. Just checked my profile and looks like I joined DU way back in 2005! That was one quick decade!
