WBZ TV News Boston-- This morning's headline: Bernie Sanders Shows Himself to Be a Contender

That was at the top of show.

This is the first time I heard Sanders described in a way that does not convey that he is that somewhat eccentric guy from Vermont who is unlikely to do anything significant in this race or ever--so let's ask him what he thinks of each of Hillary's positions instead of asking him what his positions are.

The story, of course, was about the Madison event last night, with at least ten thousand in attendance. On a weeknight. In Scott Walker territory.

WBZ didn't give the story itself much more time than the headline, but there was zero condescension, slanting, damning with faint praise, etc.--with one exception: "some momentum"

Some? LOL!

of themselves. The more people hear him and really listen, the more converts he will make. Our job is to help spread his message, this all depends in large part, on us! To successfully achieve our goals we need millions of committed people to stand behind Bernie and tell the Establishment that there is a new sheriff in town. They need to get on board with these policies or leave Washington and go do something else!

Party's anointed. That one is REALLY up to us. Not all his rich supporters, either. He has few to none. US, as in US. Raise money baking or crafting, if that's what it takes.

Bernie's been requesting donations of $3 and $5. Most anyone can do that now and again. If you can do more, by all means, do. But don't do nothing at all.

But, I agree, as soon as he does better and better, the claws will come out more than ever.

He won't even be that slightly eccentric, bemusing, "unlikely" guy anymore. He'll be a threat to truth, justice and the American way, Mom and apple pie, and all else Americans hold dear.

It could not have been more obvious.

And I say this as someone who, at the time, was (a) enthusiastically for Kerry, my "favorite son" candidate; and (b) totally clueless politically. All I knew then was that Kerry was a war hero who had spoken out against the Vietnam War, was a Democrat and was "my" Senator, from my state.

many more advantages than he does. But, polls show many people don't trust her, whether or not Mook wants to admit those polls exist.

I would not vote for anyone I didn't trust for President. I think Sanders and O'Malley have stayed relatively close to the same message, whether you like their message or hate it.

think that's why he declared from the beginning he was not going to play that type of game. I doubt people in WI knew who he was a few months ago, he's from the Northeast. They sure did learn quickly though after his stops in Colorado, etc. I honestly think he's going to win this...

Anyone who doesn't manage at least one $3 donation either needs to have compelling reasons or needs to simmer down about Citizens United. No one can do this for you or instead of you.

If you believe in clean government, even a little, this is your shot and it may be the only one you ever have, unless you step up.

Media does not care about the issues or the viability of a candidate; media has no sense of right or wrong, media just goes after the money. The point of having the biggest pot of money is that the media will prostrate themselves in front of it. I don't even think the resulting barrage of advertising is productive; I think people just tune it out. The candidate will be beholden to the big contributors, the media will whore after the biggest source of advertising dollars.

Simple as that. And I expect that soon the DNC will start throwing up barriers for Bernie's candidacy. I think that, for them, it is getting out of hand. Much like Warren was getting out of hand according to the Third Way. The unknown quantity is - Bernie seems to be attracting people who were not all that interested in the political process. Will these people even listen to the "Say hello to president Walker" threats, or will they just not get involved with what they see as business as usual.

CBS this morning said nothing about the place filled to capacity. I live near Madison, and the place has a capacity of 10.5K people, there as usual were people still waiting outside and could not get in due to no more room.

Is this guy gonna need a venue like for a football game next?

Yet even our local Madison stations had a 2 or 3 minute story at 10 last night and absolutely nothing today.

Is big business media also scared of this guy is that the reason they are not covering this incredible turnouts no matter where he goes?

Polls don't even mention him, it's Hillary against "X"

no one ever does Bern against anyone. UG!

I'm being obedient to the maxim, Be grateful for small favors.

Maybe you ought to contact your local media? Just so they know someone is awake and keeping score? "Couldn't oit," as they used to say in Brooklyn.
