Democrats and endless wars

The US is involved - mostly in secret and with almost no oversight - in an untold numbers of "small wars". We seem to have forgotten what "blowback" is and seem to think we can kill our way to safety.

Here's another example of Mr Hope and Change waging endless war in your name:

U.S. special forces wage secretive 'small wars' against terrorists

"We are attempting to identify opportunities to expand [Special Operations'] global presence, forward access and relationships to leverage opportunities short of crisis," Thomas said.

... Special Ops forces are being asked to prevent both ISIS and al Qaeda from gaining a stronger foothold in places like Libya, Somalia and Yemen. The military characterizes many of the operations as "advising and assisting" local forces with intelligence and overhead surveillance to help identify targets. But in reality there are also many instances of the U.S. conducting direct attack operations on terror targets.

No mention of the civilian deaths that necessarily come along with military operations of almost any scale.. No mention of the scumbags we're working with and arming.

And this is what Hillary is promising to continue. This is what the Democrats have come to stand for.

We have a real chance of reigning some of this in in November. Or expanding it.

1) Support the most right-wing position on Israel's political spectrum at any given time.

2) Act in the interest of "American" corporations overseas.

A variety of tools are used to further both including diplomacy, economic interventions (aid, sanctions, loans) and military intervention (overt or covert). With the prevalences of drones, especially in Africa and the Middle-East, assasination seems to have been normalized as one of the coercive tools.

All the worst crap you can imagine has been normalized. It's depressing. And worse it's self-destructive.
