Crowd is so big they've had to open areas that were supposed to stay closed
Sanders campaign says 7,500 people here. Civic Center staff say closer to 9,000. FWIW, I don't see a single empty seat.

(38,613 posts)I loved the audience reaction to his mention of the Koch brothers. He had a few humorous moments too

(62,325 posts)it's okay for him to use his music, but he did not approve of Rubio using it.
All the good musicians are for Bernie. Buckwheat, Neil Young, Killer Mike
I hope they all give concerts to raise funds for him.
He played Neil Young's 'Keep on Rockin in the Free World' in Madison!
What a great campaign so far.

I'm so bummed that I missed it...didn't see the live link on his site earlier, so was gone out with the dog for almost an hour...dang.
I'll have to see it in rerun.

(62,325 posts)and it isn't just campaign rhetoric, what they are going through under this awful system they are struggling with.
People feel CARED about for the first time in a long time, and his record shows he isn't just talking.
Eg, rather than profit from being a politician, he has donated money he received for a speech he gave AND from the book about the filibuster that was published.
People need to know these things about him because he may be the only politician who has not taken advantage, financially, of his position.
