(11,364 posts)... but it isn't empty. Everybody else is pretty much doing what you are here - just sitting with their beer (or whatever) and feeling sort of lonely.

(11,175 posts)My recollection is that I saw at least one post from a Clinton supporter urging that it be closed entirely.
After the election, this room will probably get somewhat more active. The electoral map may show a majority colored red, or it may show a majority for a candidate who extols the virtues of "a warm, purple space". Either way, we'll be looking for true-blue leadership in Congress. I expect that Bernie will be in the vanguard.

(29,289 posts)some things. Still have 3 yard signs - they make me smile, though. As does the button on the underside of my passenger-side visor. And the Bernie magnet that I sometimes flash at cars sporting his bumper sticker, and we nod and smilingly flash the peace sign or solidarity/resistance fist at each other. We are still very much standing tall, still on board with the path forward.
If it weren't for "the circumstances" things would be a lot different now.

(11,499 posts)Humboldt, CA so I still see his bumper stickers every where. I am glad I live in CA so I don't feel like I have to vote for who I don't want to which is neither...will I get in trouble for saying that?
I think people who think Hillary will win easy are wrong. There is a lot of hate and anger in this country and a lot of people who love attention like Trump and the everything about me that reality shows are famous for bringing out.
People are intrigued by the entertainment of it all and don't have a clue what they would be stuck with if Trump wins.
As much as I am far left and a Bernie fan I do think Hillary is better than him by a long shot. Which doesn't say much because she has a ton of negatives that they will have to try to overcome.
The democrats will vote for her but will the independents?
