I respectfully disagree that Bernie would have had a better chance at beating you-know-who.
Bernie took a stand against consolidated corporate power including the media. Orange man just bashed the media as a political tool. The media knew who they wanted. They knew DT was a fake populist and that Sanders was the real populist.
Hillary was a much less threat to this consolidated power. She embraced it in many respects.
With all this in mind I believe Bernie would have been trashed in the corporate media to a far greater degree than Hillary
Trump is a media sweetheart. He is their product and had a show of his own for years on TV. A showman who draws ratings Ratings are key. Trump wins no matter what.
That's my take.

1. It's all about the money. Media sees more profits with Trump and all of the controversies.

spend the most on M$M and propaganda. IMO there should be caps on all of this.

5. I don't believe the media would have determined the outcome even if they did bash Bernie.

The polls about the matchup with tRump, the polls about trust, the exit polls showing demographics, the fact that Hillary lost in large part because of dem voter apathy, the folks who voted 3rd party because of disaffection, etc etc, lots of reasons. All we can do is muse, but the data seem to support a better result for the party.
