Anyone else sign up to attend their local Kick-Off Meeting on the 29th?
I had received an email asking if I would host one, but am not in a position to do so. After a quick search on FB I found that someone else had indeed answered the call, so I signed us up to attend.
Our local group looks small (so far) but from the tiny acorn, etc .....

If people go to BernieSanders.com and select Attend Events...then enter your zip code, it will show meetings in your area. When you look at Details, you can see how many have RSVP'd.

In my area it really varies...from zero for some up to 40ish for others.

(23,156 posts)I'm going to check with a couple of friends I think support him and see if they want to attend any of them.
I bet this is going to feel a lot like the groundswell for Howard Dean in 2007.

This is a bit different because Bernie is going to discuss campaign strategy. This is a very good thing. It will give those who a volunteered more direction.

(974 posts)There are six events within 30 miles of me. None are large, so I signed up for the one I wanted right away. I'm glad I did because it is now full.
Monday we have the volunteers first meeting. I called the organizer last Monday. He said they had already changed to a bigger room once and was worried they might have to again. I told him he should expect more people than had signed up and should consider a bigger venue. I am anxious to get started and looking forward to that first meeting.
