I also got jumped on Willie Nelson & Bruce Springsteen.

10 years ago, I would have suggested Arlo Guthrie, but he seems to have become a libertarian nutcase.

OK, here's one:

Holly Near.

She's been doing protest gigs from Mifflin St. 1969 to the Capital Square, 2011. (Madison references)

Have Billy sing some of the Woody Guthrie lyrics he helped make into song on the "Mermaid Avenue" cd.

Why these guys? No, they aint from around here, they are children from the slums of Paraguay and they play with trash, albeit reworked trash. If these children aren't the most inspirational thing you've seen today...well...go look for yourselves. I can only imagine the inspirational message Senator Sanders could weave using these kids about his immigration policy or his foreign policy with South America or even his thoughts on financial inequality. Posted here are two videos, the first describes these kids, the second is designed and performed by violinist/dancer/YouTube darling Lindsey Stirling featuring the Landfill Harmonic Orchestra. (Warning: guarenteed to moisten your eyes).
