Prior to talking about Bernie, Schumer had, of course, praised Hillary, whom he has endorsed. He says nothing bad about Bernie. However, he says O'Malley and Edwards are inauthentic because--wait for it--they were third way who tried running as liberals and it didn't work because a candidate has to be authentic.

The irony here is, a few years back, I saw Schumer being interviewed. When asked why he never ran for President, he said he could never win. When asked why, he replied something like, "I don't know. Maybe, too Brooklyn, too Jewish."
