take advantage of that horrendous ruling and still posing a real challenge to the well funded Front Runner, is a slap in the face to those who would buy candidates using that 'law' to do so.

And if he wins, he will have totally wiped out all the claims that they HAVE TO take it, 'or they don't stand a chance'.

All Dem candidates should be joining him in refusing to use that anti-Constitutional legislation, and then USE it against Republicans who would be on the defensive, desperately scrambling to explain away the billions pouring into their party, buying elections and candidates.

detoxing and not knowing how it would turn out. There are fears/dangers that the money would go to their opponent, thus losing an election.

But if they see Sanders do it...Lord hope he can...then there is an example to work from. The Democratic base will get it way before the Republicans. (especially with Trump who is spending his own money) Bernie is an incredible leader to push this "radical" idea to the forefront. But it's going to take some equally powerful colleagues, I believe, to move it forward at least in the beginning.

on our system and COMPETE for it, they were certain they had a 'winning' strategy. The DLC was responsible for that 'thinking'.

It is very courageous of Bernie to do this, but the ONLY way to draw attention to the rigged, bought system that is simply not working for the people.

I guess we'll find out who stands with him in this election, of our Dem Reps I mean, and who stands with the Billionaires.

In a way, he has created a real test of who is courageous enough to fight for the people. At the end of this campaign we will have the answer to that question.

Now is the time for a real progressive populist movement, but the message needs to be clear and not overly complex and it needs to be repeated over and over to drive it home into the minds of the people.

Then Bernie will win

... I do not expect that Bubba will have a great deal of influence on Hillary's decisions. The similarity I do see between them is that Bill campaigned (TWICE!) as a progressive Democrat, but he governed as a moderate Republican (I'd put him just a bit to the right of Eisenhower.)

Similarly, I suspect that Hillary will say whatever "the people" want to hear to get elected. But I do not believe, in my heart of hearts, that what she says in order to gain the office will have much effect on what she actually does in office.

Even though I'm a life long Democrat, the Democratic Party I once knew isn't in charge anymore! IF our very own Party could in some way find it within itself to LISTEN to what more an more of us are saying, and for that matter what people of other Parties are saying, it's what SHOULD happen!

more support from Democrats than Bernie is. I'm seeing so many Democrats who decided not to run for re-election out stumping for Hillary! Even Tom Harken who I always considered more liberal than many is doing what he can. Then there's Barnie Frank who always talked up his liberal image who has actually said Bernie can't win. Howard Dean is also getting under my skin and I have given him a LOT of credit for his 50-state strategy, but I heard him say he Bernie can't get elected.

So this is why I'm distressed. Clearly THEY can SEE what's happening but they're UNWILLING to jump ship and ruffle the feathers of TPTB of THE PARTY!

So, I guess it's up to us to keep PUSHING BACK or Kick Their Ass! IT IS TIME! There was a time in the past when BIG CHANGES were possible so I'm not willing to give up! IT IS TIME! This country that spreads Democracy ALL OVER THE WORLD had better look in the mirror!

I can't tell you how much I don't want to have to vote for Hillary, but the alternative simply spells more disaster! And WHY is it that Clinton & Bush are on the FRONT cover of TIME! That's a real show stopper and it's been going on for YEARS! Way too scary for me!

Was it discussed at the Republican debate last week? No!

Are there frequent stories about it on TV news and the major newspapers? No!

Go stand outside a supermarket one day and ask random people what the major issues in the 2016 Presidential Campaign are. I'll be quite surprised if more than 10% say "money in politics and its corrosive effect on government".

Just because an issue is "major" on progressive democratic websites doesn't make it a part of the MSM's "Big Picture". And whether we like it or not, the MSM does, for the most part, determine what's a major issue, nationally, and what's not.

The next appointments to the Supreme Court are critical to our country and democracy.

However I am totally encensed at you sending American jobs to xxx where the pay is a fraction of what people in America make and the Americans lose their jobs. I am pissed that you'd rather have lower sales (Americans who lost jobs can't afford luxuries or ofen even necessities) than the higher sales you would have made had the people still had jobs to buy products. I hate that you drive companies out of business but get millions of dollars for yourselves. I hate that you don't want to pay for my daughters' contraception or provide her maternity coverage yet cover Viagra and lie when you say you are pro-life. You're just damn cheap and despicable in every way that counts on a grand scale.
