Sanders beginning to "fizzle"?

Clinton backers say they think the Sanders phenomenon will begin to fizzle in the fall.
Her upcoming weekend appearance (in NH) with Shaheen is being billed as a show of political strength to kick off a fall season, when they say the national spotlight will be even more intensely focused on the front-runner and less on Sanders’ momentum, largely because the novelty of Sanders’ crowd sizes will wear off.

announcement ... 'he will fade away in a few weeks, he won't be able to keep people interested enough to support him'.

Anything said by a DC insider is worthless these days. They are SO out of touch with the people.

Because of that they probably do have some value. If a DC 'expert' has anything to say, the opposite is probably true.

...that I am excited about. Democracy is not a brand name, it's a formidable movement of human will. The name can appropriated into this "coke vs pepsi" political sideshow ( both sides being the equivalent of junk food run by large for-profit corporations). The movement can, when inspired, rise up and change the entire discourse in an instant. Seriously. Money only talks because democracy was lulled to sleep. The power of an idea flowing through a united people transcends all. That's my theory. I'll even more interested in seeing it will out.

That doesn't mean any of his support will crumble. Clinton backers are getting desperate. Every time another poll comes out showing that he's still getting more popular, they proclaim it's his new 'peak' and it's back downward from here.

people, these 'experts' since they have no clue obviously, mainly because they don't care, what the people are thinking.

They've been wrong about Bernie from the first day.

And all the old tactics they tried just aren't working anymore.

It's a different world that has left all these very expensive 'experts' far behind.

Thu Sep 3, 2015, 08:28 AM

is support is so trivial it doesn't count. The numbers who turn out for his rallies aren't voters (as if they've checked the voter registration of all rally-goers). And starting about three weeks ago they've been confidently asserting he has peaked.

So far it doesn't look like he's peaked, and so far there's no way of knowing for sure how people will vote in the end. Polls are helpful, but there are still quite a few people who haven't yet heard of Bernie or had a chance to listen to him speak. Once many more do, Whoa Nelly!

The Clinton backers are only hoping for self-fulfilling prophecy: If they repeat "Bernie has peaked" enough times maybe it will come true.

that not only is Fall their sell season it is also when college kids get together, find common things and important things to do and form large groups to support those things. Hmmmm, a large part of that age group is already in Bernie's pocket. Hmmmm, I wonder how many Sanders 2016 groups there will be and how much door to door, pamphlet handing and phone banking there will be? I kinda think this fizzle will be much like the others, maybe worse, but it will be spelled with an S not an F.

The hyperbole is funny in an awful way, though. Glaring once one spots it.

I would suggest that contacting candidates and the media to whine about other supporters' posting is both pathetically childish and may bite some in the ass, too.
