Where ever you go tomorrow

Bring up Bernie Sanders. Not to the point of being a nuisance, but just as a citizen that is engaged in the electoral process.

We owe it to ourselves and our country to get a message out - Bernie Sanders is the person who should be President.

I *mean* it. The man should be President and will be if we fight for him like he fights for us!

All people need to do is go to his website and read what he says, then maybe listed to a speech he's given.

Then they become supporters. Just like us. Ten or twenty thousand new ones every day.

I mean, there are people all over the country that are talking to their friends and families about Bernie. Truth be told, this grassroots campaign might surpass the 10-20K new supporters per day, and quite soon.

My husband gets lots of positive comments whenever he wears his Bernie tee shirt, which is especially encouraging since we live in Kansas. I'm going to order some Bernie buttons so we always have something that says "Bernie" when we're out in public.

The Republicans are a problem, but I don't usually encounter those kooks around the places I go. The biggest obstacle to getting people to turn out and vote is apathy. People have heard so many promises and seen so little action that they are almost dead to politics. People have no idea what Democrats and Republicans stand for, and they'll vote for someone because of some damned soundbite they heard.

It's frustrating to have a conversation about politics with most people. But Bernie's got a record of the things he's stood for all these years, so it's not a hard sell when you get to talking about him. All you have to do is show people what he's stood for, how he has voted in Congress, and what he has said and done to back up his positions. People will either agree or disagree with some of his positions, but they respect his consistency through the years, and you can't find a better candidate than he is. He's rock solid and real

Hope you're doing well. I'm still on my backwards schedule, so I don't get out much. Usually sleeping during the day. Take care, and I'll be in touch soon.

...or the auto repair shop, or the gas station.

I usually bring my ebook with me when I know I have to wait somewhere, but often end up talking about Bernie or related subjects. I'm often surprised about how many people actually listen and agree even when you discuss his plans. Sometimes it is downright fun, getting other people into the gig.

As he said, talk to everyone, family ,friends, strangers let them know what he hopes for Americans, this is his REVOLUTION he speaks of, it's people getting informed and standing together and fighting for what is right for America. We must make this happen, I feel in my 74 years it is our last great chance with Bernie, another Bernie may never come along again in time to turn America around, we must not let the corporations and rich ruin America, it must be turned around for future generations.

I hope to encourage enough people day to day that we have to become engaged if we want a change in the direction our nation is going.

It has to start somewhere, and it can start with you, me and everybody else that wants a better future.

Friday and Saturday of Labor Day weekend - also a great time to flyer near supermarkets, Home Depot, farmers; markets, etc. as people stock up on their barbecue needs.

Flyers can be printed out in English and Spanish from berniesanders.com or facebook. Or, tons of material in the Bernie Group can be made into your original flyer.

I also recommend buying something like a bunch of stickers or mini-campaign buttons to hand out. Makes it likelier that you can get someone to stop. If you buy in quantity at the Bernie store, they are not that expensive. But you do have to wait a while for delivery.
