Their "ombudsman" merely issued a boilerplate non-apology as well as an admission that they did this on purpose.

The reference in that conversation to Clinton “basically running against herself” was intended to mean that her campaign is being buffeted in large part by issues related to things she’s done -- including using a private email server -- rather than by attacks from other campaigns. We understand and apologize that the inference was not clear to some listeners. We did not intend to suggest that Clinton is not facing competition from Sen. Sanders. We also agree that a mention of the challenge posed by the Sanders campaign would have been appropriate and helpful to include.

In other words, we will say we agree and blame it on the stupidity of "some listeners" who missed our "inference." And we also agree that doing a proper job of reporting and mentioning Sanders' challenge would have been "appropriate and helpful to include," and that's why we didn't do it.

NPR is just another member of the corporate/state media.

careful about Sanders in the future.

Yes, they are just a member of the corporate state media, but not one, like MSNBC, that represents only a drop in the conglomerate bucket for stockholders of the conglomerate.

She was talking about Hillary, Joe and the Donald but I was waiting for her to talk about Bernie and he was purposely ignored. Public media should not get into the business of the networks like Fox, CNN. Even the BBC in Britain is getting bias by omission.
