I did not realize the Oct 13 debate seating is by invitation only.

Tickets are usually controlled by the state party organization which is sponsoring the debate. Here is a breakdown for the upcoming debates of who to contact:
October 13, 2015 - CNN Democratic Debate in Las Vegas

Statement from the Wynn Las Vegas on ticketing:

"The upcoming debate is an invite-only event. Tickets are not available for purchase. If you would like to request tickets should they become available to the public, please contact the Nevada State Democratic Party at www.nvdems.com or 702-737-8683 to request to be added to their list."

There was a suggestion that that might result in the house being 'packed' for a candidate supported by the DNC.

I could be wrong, of course, and that doesn't mean I approve of the practice right or wrong.

The South Carolina Republican Party has setup a ticketing page available here with this information:

"Greenville, South Carolina is excited to host a Republican Presidential Debate on Saturday, February 13, 2016. Please note: making a ticket request does not guarantee a ticket or admission to the debate. Tickets are very limited and requests will potentially be fulfilled by random drawing, given the massive interest in the debate. We will contact you at the appropriate time if your name is chosen (not before January 2016)."

en masse. They're carpooling to the venue because word has leaked out now from dozens of sources that the audience is pre-loaded for Hillary and if Sanders' supporters aren't allowed inside they're trying to make sure there is an OVERWHELMING representation of Bernie supporters outside -- so many that even the brain-dead MSM can't ignore them.

Oh, and "If you would like to request tickets should they become available . . ." should tell you something. Besides the "invite-only event," invited by whom? The debate was scheduled by the DNC, controlled by the DNC and the debate audience is determined by the DNC.
