Which is what happens any time people are speaking "off the cuff" as opposed to reciting carely memorized one-liners in their planned spontaneity and "connecting" with the everyday peoples.
Even worse, he sounded like he meant it, which is just another way of saying he sounded angry. Just like his supporters, excuse me, his fans. Because of course only "presidential" candidates have supporters. Fringe populists have teeny-bopper "fans."
