poll shows Donald Trump beating Hillary Clinton...Trump taking 70% of the electoral votes

Latest presidential poll shows Donald Trump beating Hillary Clinton in head-to-head contest, Trump taking 70% of the electoral votes

http://powderedwigsociety.com/trump-kills-hitlery-in-head-to-head-matchup/

...

Based on an average of the RCP (Real Clear Politics) polling data from all the states and all the “head to head” matchups between Donald Trump (by far the winner of the GOP) and Hillary Clinton (The winner of the Democratic Party) shows bad news for the Democrats.

Clinton is losing handily in all the swing states, and is even losing Democrat strongholds of Maryland, Connecticut, and Oregon.
According to many polls, and the averages, Clinton cannot even hold on to California and New York without a major fight. On the bright side for the Democrat party, they make gains in the south as Obama is now off the ticket.

Trump would defeat Hillary Clinton by 5 percentage points nationwide: getting 52% and Clinton gathering 47% (presuming the pollsters are citing the popular vote)

He will also get a TON more votes from the politically apathetic/tuned out that are supporting Bernie now, but see Hillary as part of the Establishment problem.

Of course, this would pay off for down ticket races as well.

Nominating Bernie is the BEST thing that the Democratic Party could do, and it has the potential to give us back at least one house of Congress.

In her gleeful undermining of the Democratic primary process with corporate supporters and flip-flopping zero sum mutterings, she is driving us towards, at the very least, a House and Senate unified against Democratic Party principles, and possibly a three branch triumvirate of fascism with Trump in charge.

No coattails, probably no Executive Branch, and she can see the writing on the wall just as well as we can, but still rushes pell-mell into the toilet of disaster.

We need a statesman.

Both Trump and Bernie appeal to the prevailing mood. But Trump would usher in fascism while Bernie would return us to democracy.

That's the essential choice.

Whereas a vote for Hillary is a vote for continued slide into joblessness, poverty, and transnational corporate hegemony. Trump would simply take us there faster.

The Most Likely Next President Is Hillary Clinton, And Republicans are in denial about it.

http://www.bloomberg.com/politics/articles/2015-10-26/the-most-likely-next-president-is-hillary-clinton

A virulent strain of Clinton Derangement Syndrome, which scientists and Republicans thought had been wiped out at the end of the last century, is now afflicting millions of conservative Americans. Some Republicans so detest Hillary Clinton they are badly underestimating how likely she is, at this point in the campaign, to be America’s 45th president. Their denial is just as strong now as it was a month ago, before Clinton began a run of political victories that have enhanced her prospects, all while the roller derby/demolition derby that is the Republican nomination contest has continued to harm the GOP’s chances of winning back the White House.

To be sure, nothing ever happens in a linear or tidy fashion with the Clintons; she is certain to add more chapters to the Perils of Hillary saga before Election Day 2016. Bernie Sanders could still upend her in Iowa, New Hampshire, or both, which could throw the nomination battle into unadulterated bedlam. Even if Clinton is nominated, a strong Republican candidate could absolutely defeat her next November, with victory as simple as the party putting forth a nominee who is more likeable to voters and better on television. Indeed, many elite and grassroots Republicans believe Clinton’s personality, which they can’t stand, will keep her out of the Oval Office no matter what.

But October has been good to Clinton: a glittering debate performance, the decision of potential rival Joe Biden not to run (greatly simplifying her path to the nomination), the vanquishing of Republicans during her daylong Benghazi hearing, and a solid turn at the Iowa Democratic Party’s Jefferson-Jackson dinner Saturday night. All have improved Clinton’s odds of cruising into the White House twelve months hence, and have thrown into sharper relief some of the advantages she has had all along...

IMHO IT ISN'T THE GOP WHO IS DELUSIONAL...MASSIVE FAWNING ADULATION FROM BLOOMBERG

Why Donald Trump Could Win the Republican Nomination

http://www.bloomberg.com/politics/articles/2015-10-27/why-donald-trump-could-win-the-republican-nomination

The far right isn't what's buoying the populist plutocrat. In ways large and small, with policy and with personality, billionaire Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is forcing his party's establishment to confront the vast divide between party leaders and the voters who for more than 100 days have wanted him to carry their torch to the White House.

A prevailing narrative is that Trump is leading in the polls by appealing to the far right. That's an oversimplification. Trump is offering Republicans something no other candidate can: An insider's knowledge of the elite combined with a mischievous determination to upend it and an unorthodox set of policy prescriptions—running the gamut from immigration to campaign finance to Social Security—that aim to achieve that goal. In this year's contest for the Republican nomination, that platform has proven to have staying power.

“We’re all out there like little bee workers trying to get these people elected, and then nothing changes!” said Fay Schall, a 63-year-old conservative Republican from O'Brian County, Iowa. A Trump supporter, she said the real estate tycoon articulates the frustration voters feel, in part because he doesn't worry about being politically correct. “People are tired of it,” she said. “I think that’s the nerve that Trump is hitting. Everybody is tired of being trampled on. I think that’s what’s resonating.”
