military personnel in dress uniforms visiting the floor of the NY Stock Exchange. It turned my stomach. Of course, my stomach also turned last night during the Seahawks game at Century Link field in Seattle. The turf was done in camo colors.

And couldn't help but think about all that money that the DOD has been quietly paying the NFL and NHL for all of those "patriotic" displays at games.

Patriotism is one think but ginning it up is another.

We also noticed several "recruitment" type ads on TV tonight...wondering if they are going to try and use France as a "tool".
