This Iowa Man Plowed a Quarter-Acre Sign for Bernie Sanders

This Iowa Man Plowed a Quarter-Acre Sign for Bernie Sanders

A Bernie Sanders supporter has taken an unusual approach to supporting the Democratic presidential candidate by plowing a roughly one-quarter of an acre area of his farm to spell out "Bernie."

“I was on my tractor one day and thought, ‘Well, I’ll just try this,'” Mike Pattavina told ABC News about the sign plowed into his soybean field. “It worked out pretty good.”

The 68-year-old farmer said the “B” alone is 60-feet tall. Pattavina said he “free-handed” the lettering and the plowing would not affect the field because the soybean had already been harvested.

and no amount of concealment, suppression or lying can stop it!

The only time a third party came close was when the farmers spoke, back in the days of the People's Party, the American political party also known as the 'Populists' which existed from 1891 to 1908...they had something to do with Teddy Roosevelt, I believe...

I see you are a fellow Coloradan for Bernie!

I moved to the 4C a few years ago. Pretty Red corner of CO, but I see another Bernie sticker every time I go to City Market.

Most of them are well old enough to vote and seem highly motivated to do so. Many of them will go on to lives and careers that will reflect how they see truth and the current reality. Many of them will be part of the decisions that are made in the future.

I trust them a lot more than some random armchair occupant.

Bernie really covered a lot of ground and connected a lot of dots. Agreed with him across the board, I think.
