DU is starting to get crazy

GD-P is more and more a ceasepool.

I made a spelling error responding to post warning bernie supporters and it was quickly reported on,and hidden.they are becoming so quick skined they are trying to hide every post they can get away with.

Sometimes i think this site should split off into 2 halves.one for clinton supporters.the other half for us bernie supporters.

I know GD-P has been cesepool but it's getting worse In my oporion.

I think despite what they claim they are getting nevroas. We have been called sexist,anti-women,and racists.yet they call us negative
and report on the first chance they get.

They are even trying to spin abc new poll which has clinton going from 39 point lead to 26 point lead national lead as postive and ignore numbers inside which has bernie gaining with liberals, men, women, and non-whites.It confirms the NBC poll which had after
debates and during her susposed best month, bernie gaining.

I never expected any national poll before voting starts In Iowa and NH to have Bernie ahead.I remember 2008 too well.

We were all on one side when Pinhead stole the elections. Even later on. Then suddenly one fraction of DU turns out to be less interested in longstanding Democratic efforts than being emotionally attached to their candidate. I've cherished this forum, and grown tremendously thanks to the shared experiences, so it's shocking.

I can understand it. There's a kind of nostalgia perhaps for having another Clinton in the White House. And a female president would be a very big deal in a multitude of ways. And a husband wife team both presidents. But none of that has anything to do with progressive ideals. We're out to help the least of us. People seem to have forgotten that. Isn't that what the fuck our society is doing?

Just be glad Bernie is in this race, and getting attention. We've already opened dialog on subjects that ten years ago wouldn't be considered.

Yeah, it's weird.

and there have been several in the past few weeks, two things bring me back. One, giving a K&R to important posts so they may get support and exposure, and two, being able to serve on juries. If the Bernie folks throw in the towel, no one will be left to protect their posting rights and alerts from the swarm will stand and good people will be silenced.

This is a game to them, we know for a fact they are trolling DU and trying to get our posts hidden, the screenshots from another website proved it.

And recently a certain troll was outed which proves that we were right about their intentions all along too - now they're out for blood.

So ignore the trolls and flamebait and watch your backs out there Bernistas.

The best revenge against trolls is not giving them the attention they so desperately crave. They thrive on anger and dissent, don't feed them.

I've noticed that certain posters bait us and when we respond the alerts start flowing. Eventually they get a sympathetic jury and a post gets hidden.

This is a common tactic, people, be aware of it and do not give them the satisfaction. Simply make your case, say you're done with them and move on.

And if you see an obvious flamebait thread ignore it.

Think of them as angry children who are pissed off and want to pick a fight, the last thing they want is to be ignored.

This is becoming troll heaven. It's too bad. I was thinking back in the days before Paul Wellstone was killed and we had all the Wellstone supporters posting here. There were some of the best posts and best writers we had back then. Too bad the middle aged people who haven't progressed mentally since Junior High have taken over today.

At this point in time, I am not inclined to lock. If an other hosts feels differently, I will differ to them.

It is really bad out there and sometimes it is good to just have a safe space here to vent just a little.

I don't see any call outs or inappropriateness right now.
