(13,870 posts)It looks like the new meme (or old one pushed to the front) is that Bernie is cranky and a bit unhinged (read "Not Presidential" . The barb is aimed at his followers but can easily transferable to him-the first debate dust-up? What is really sad to me is that most of her supporters on here are probably middle to low income. They are totally missing her Wall Street ties-it's folks voting against their own interests.

(13,870 posts)As in, "It's her turn".
I had started taking people off ignore last week. But today I put them and more on. I don't want to get riled. I know what I feel about all of this in the real world and how I am going to behave in the caucus and in the ge. I like the Bernie supporters I have gotten to know and would like to read and post with them.
That said, the party and my two senators have done some good but they certainly have done a lot of bad. And I am not sure I will be all that tolerant to my local elections.

(13,870 posts)It amazes me that Hillary supporters on here think she will represent their interests. They don't see the money connection. We chastise the Republicans for voting against their own interests and yet we see it right here on DU-pom poms waving and all. Unfortunately for Hillary-if she wins it won't be the love fest Obama received from fellow Democrats once he took office. She's going to need a big event, a la George Bush's 9/11 to get the country's sympathy.

(9,497 posts)I don't think she has cross over appeal.
She should have stuck with Republicans being the enemy, because the left is feeling scorched and many will never return.

(23,730 posts)but between screaming cultists and the usual doorknobs you find in political sites whole forums are invisible to me (because I use this more to gather data and better analysis than you get on Kos or the Gruniad wits)
but the point is that they were all on my list well before 2015 even dawned
