In a post called 7 things Hillary Clinton has in common with your abuela, the campaign says Clinton is like an ordinary Hispanic grandmother because she worries about children everywhere, reads to you before bedtime and demands respeto Spanish for respect.

And we were told it was Bernie who was tone deaf. #FeeltheBern has gotten decidedly more colorful over the past few months. Lots of PoC supporting the Bern!

(5,141 posts)Isn't the fake fucking Southern accent enough?
I've said from day one the biggest issue I have with her is her lack of authenticity.

(11,366 posts)I'm Southern and I think the fake accent is horrible and only put-on to pander.
I'm also a female and there was nothing in that post that was misogynistic.
Finally, this is the Bernie Supporters Group. If you don't like it, please find your way back out.

(5,141 posts)Im also not sure how to interpret your word salad.
FWIW, I know very well where Bernie is from nor I am not directionally challenged or disparaging the south, I am disparaging Hillary for her fake southern accent. Shes from Illinois. And Im not a misogynist either, I happen to be a woman. Nice try though.
Lastly, youre IN THE BERNIE SANDERS GROUP.

Born in miyazaki Japan, fled pre-war time Japan to Hawaii to be with her Dansei no koibito her future Otto (husband) who was partially Japanese and partially Hawaiian native.. to be a Yoshida family member. Her family afraid to be thrown into a Japanese internment camp, were later excused because they were considered Hawaiian natives.

(9,497 posts)Such a sad scar to the people here in the PNW.
I buy flowers from a woman, who learned from her aunties about flowers. That was what they could do for cash after the were released from the camps. They lost everything. Very sad.

(4,389 posts)Progressives are justifiably outraged at what appears to be a power play by the Democratic establishment. Over just the past couple of hours, more than 50,000 DFA members have signed on to stand with Bernie Sanders against it.
snip
It seems like the DNC is doing all it can to blunt the momentum of Bernie's campaign -- just 24 hours after it received major endorsements from DFA and the Communication Workers of America.First, the DNC refused to schedule an appropriate number of debates -- and hid the ones they did schedule by setting them up near holidays or on weekend nights.
Now, in a huge overreaction to a situation involving a security glitch by a data vendor, the DNC has completely removed the Sanders campaign's access to its very own voter file data -- and they won't say when or if they will give it back.
