There's been no evolution in that DNA.

(36,063 posts)evolution in it's biological sense is a phenomenon that is by definition a change in frequencies of alleles in a population.
Application of the word to human political change is the application of a euphemism that borrows scientific tone and benefits by the popular perception that evolution is a positive force leading to adaptation and thereby progress.

(17,301 posts)I use to make a point of not saying anything bad about Hillary until a supporter arbitrarily banned me from the Hillary forum for NOT posting anything negative about Hillary.
Yes folks you too can get banned from the Hillary forum for Not posting negative comments about Hillary. So now, it's open season.
Hillary is a tool of the uber rich and she will bring full blown facism to the US.
A vote for Hillary is a vote for more corporate control. Don't trust her. She is a 1% who will ruin this country.
I got more nasties for Hillary but I'm going for a bigger audience.

(8,267 posts)But, I can say that I went in and checked out the pinned threads in that forum. One respondent has a list of HRC supporters, and has put Ellen DeGeneres on that list. I cannot find any video or articles that support this, and I have seen HRC tell Ellen she's for "civil unions with full benefits" rather than "marriage" for our LGBT brethren. I can't imagine Ellen supporting this stance, even if HRC alleges she's "evolved" regarding gay marriage.
I wonder about this "misinformation." I wonder how HRC expects to win the nomination when 51% of women surveyed just do not like her and will not support her.
I sincerely hope we are not put in the position of voting for "the lesser of two evils" for yet another four years.
Go, BERNIE!!!

(5,668 posts)technically I got banned because I wanted the supporters to prove me wrong that was the question. I guess they wanted to prove me right. ie if I voted for Obama, nope cya..

(8,267 posts)I just got the notification from C** (who has long been on my IL), and I haven't posted anything derogatory in the Hillary group, if you don't count my link to the research from Quinnipiac University, published by ABC news, showing that a majority of surveyed respondents think HRC is a liar! The notification is time-stamped 3:00 pm, so I have to surmise that C** has taken offense at my post regarding HRC's veracity.
Wow! I guess I should be honored!

(17,301 posts)I did and she ridiculed me. She thought it was funny that I gave a s**t. I guess it is.
I mean how many has that Hillary forum banned? It must be thousands of DU members by now since most members are pro Bernie.
You know if a Right Wing group started a Hillary forum, they could probably get away with banning almost all DU members. They could have a little right wing group here on DU while pissing off almost all members.

(19,537 posts)And her followers have interpreted her not saying anything since 2007 as being that she doesn't support expanding H-1B quotas now with her absence of comments on the issue and that that makes her position "very similar" to Bernie's stance on guest labor programs.
