endorsed Sanders. Very few Democratic politicians on the state level, too.

Some DUers see this as a reflection of how qualified Hillary is. Others see it as a reflection of how much pressure the Party is putting on politicians to endorse Hillary and only Hillary.

State Rep. Timothy Smith, who is the NH campaign chair for Bernie, posted on his facebook page about the pressure, in response to questions he had received:

# Yes, you may freely re-post my endorsement wherever you like. # No, I was not paid or compensated in any way for my endorsement (nor would I want to be). It's from the heart. # I'm not just an endorsement – I'm on the Sanders campaign steering committee here in NH. I'm walking the walk, and doing everything I can to help make sure Senator Sanders takes the NH Primary by storm. # Yes, there has been enormous pressure to endorse a different candidate, but arm-twisting hasn't worked on me since middle school and did not influence my decision. Hopefully other legislators will see the enormous level of solidarity you have all given and be convinced that it's “safe” to do what's right instead of what's easy. # As a state legislator, the correct “title” is simply 'representative' rather than 'congressman', but I'm not the kind of person who gets hung up on titles – you can just call me Tim if you like.

Thank you, all of you, again for helping spread the word and supporting Senator Sanders' campaign. We've all got to do our part – we're going to win this one vote at a time, one state at a time. #GotBerniesBack #FeelTheBern

Enormous pressure? It's safe to do what's right?

Gives credence to what I've maintained... it's risky to not endorse Hillary, as she has proven to be vindictive and vengeful. And this is why she's getting so many endorsements, so early.

I cannot wait for the tell-all books!

Here's a revealing article about her 2008 bid:

a sample tidbit...

On December 1, Clinton and her husband attended a private dinner with the influential Des Moines Register editorial board. Seated at opposite ends of a long table, they were stunned to hear journalists praise the skill and efficiency of the Obama and Edwards campaigns and question why Clinton’s own operation was so passive.

On the next morning’s staff conference call, Clinton exploded, demanding to know why the campaign wasn’t on the attack. Solis Doyle was put on a plane to Iowa the next day to oversee the closing weeks. Within hours of the call, the panicked staff produced a blistering attack on Obama for what it characterized as evidence of his overweening lust for power: he had written a kindergarten essay titled “I Want to Become President.” The campaign was mocked for weeks.

"Enormous pressure" "safe"...Yes, Smith posted those things a few months ago. I had very much suspected it.

The Clintons take their hit list damn seriously, and people know it. Bill involves himself in Democratic primaries for people running against Dems on Clintons' hit list. He campaigned against my incumbent Democratic congressman (Altmire) in the primary. Once Altmire lost the primary, Slick Willie disappeared (he's so practiced at that faux promise to call again, but once he gets what he wants, he's out the door). So come the general election, Bill was nowhere to be found and his new BFF lost to the GOP candidate.

When it comes to Bill or Hillary, get it in writing and get the money up front (as per her millions in unpaid campaign expenses - she's not too good at budgeting or honoring debts).

Plus, Hillfans are bragging that Charlie Rangel endorsed Hillary. Well sure he did, Rangel endorsed Clinton over Obama back in the day, and then Bill endorsed Rangel in Rangel's last election, despite Rangel having been disgraced, found guilty of 11 House ethics violations and sanctioned by the full House.
