I have always said his message resonates with the Hip-Hop community and the activism that is intrinsically a part of it ever since Afrika Bambataa. Hip-Hop speaks truth to power and questions it.

All this being said, I would like to question members of our community who supposedly support Hillary(keep in mind I got this from Wikipedia thought I did follow one of the links). I would like to ask Common if he still supports Hillary or supports Bernie now given I believe Bernie is more in line with the accountability we in the community ask of our politicians and the establishment.
The same goes for Ice-T, especially considering he wrote the song "Cop Killer" in response to dirty cops and the excess deaths at that time. Heard him discuss this on "The Ice Opinion".
Additionally, I would like to know who Immortal Technique, Queen Latifah, Questlove, Mos Def(don't remember his new name now) and "A Tribe Called Quest" endorse. Subsequently, I would like to hear them make an official endorsement.

I was embarrassed and angry at Mos Def in how he was giving Obama a pass on criticism early into his first term. He gave him a pass when talking on "Real Time".
He should've been MORE critical of Obama being that he is a member of the Hip-Hop community he has responsibility in this respect.
