that he really represents the mainstream of American politics. If you look at his agenda items, those things are supported by a large majority of people across party lines (as evidenced by this chart). The more people know that the better.

Corporate Media. I had high hopes Obama would have addressed this. As a former reporter in radio and television, it is essential that corporate control of radio and TV return back to where it was before Bill signed the Communications Act of 1996.

I was so disgusted he did this. Hillary won't change anything. It would be business as usual.

I want media to return to pre-96 regulations:

A single owner cannot own more than 1 broadcast property in a single market. Pre-1996, there was the 12/12/12 rule which means you can own 1 FM, 1 Am, and 1 TV totaling 12 NATIONALLY! Or 15/15/15. Approx. 75% of the programming had to originate in a local market--not just out of a major market like L.A. or N. Y.

An owner would have to renew his/her license every 3 years--opposed to 8 as it is now. This would allow an audience to weigh in as to how the station is performing. If its (the station) is not serving the market, owner could likely lose their license and station which would be picked up/purchased by another owner.

And networks like ABC or NBC would have to focus programming on other things that caters to a wider audience. Not the continual flow of Reality programs. Networks would have to develop a variety of programs that are diverse. Many years ago, ABC used to have a program called "In Concert." It was a LIVE-not taped-concert of a big group or performer. We're talking about Rod Stewart, Tom Petty, Earth, Wind And Fire, etc (those are the one's I remember seeing). I feel reality shows are mindless programs. They serve no purpose and cause conflict. Reality shows put people against each other (if you haven't noticed) wanting an audience to hate one person more than the other. The bachelor comes to mind. Who gives a crap if some 20 year old college student didn't get picked by some dude who obviously came out of some manufactured, good looking "hunky dude" factory. This is not what our society is about.

And of course we cannot forget "The Fairness Doctrine" which required an opposing viewpoint to respond. This would end Cluster Faux's disgusting daily dose of accusations against other people without someone having an opportunity to challenge the accusation(s). And it would also end Rupert Murdoch's oligarchy of owning both broadcast and print media. Having the National Geographic back with original owners would be wonderful. And the WSJ would also be in independent hands-not the white-wing morons running it now.

I could go on about this topic, but overall, this is an issue that needs to be addressed in an Sanders Administration. And I'm sure he will address it.
