... but unfortunately one can't glean meaning from the actual words. One has to, instead, see her statements only in terms of what position she's taking in order to gain influence. Now she adopts Bernie's positions purely because that's where a lot of the nation is headed. She adopted gay rights because people were headed that way. Her success is only a matter of following the right trends.

To some extent, politicians have to do that. But Hillary takes it to ridiculous extremes. What happens when some group makes a fuss and she follows them? What if that group is more conservative? What rights will go to the curb, or what wars will we end up in? And that's not to mention how much money will influence her positions.

She was a law student, in love with Bill Clinton and taking a summer job in Washington. And, having a conversation at a private school as part of her summer job does not = being liberal. Moreover, every conservative is not a racist. The Civil Rights Act was passed because of both Republicans and Democrats who were not Southerners.

I guess my point was that one has to go back nearly half a century to find straws to grasp, in order to make the case. It's that weak.

I hope you don't really think I was sincerely forwarding the argument as my own--that wasn't my intent at all.
