"America will never vote for a JEW". Hillary has almost reached the bottom of the barrel and I will not be surprised if this is where her supporters will go next.

(34,115 posts)to using up all the options but I don't think she will go there. Really I don't. Someone is likely to but I doubt she will do that. I am aware of what she has done before. I still don't think she will.

I stated something earlier that would be used against him...and I take it back

(19,537 posts)At some point her campaign is going to learn that Americans don't just want to vote for the "identity" of a politician, but their honesty, integrity, and ideas, and how those serve the people they are supposed to be representing.
It doesn't matter that Clinton's a woman, or Bernie's a Jew, or even that he's got the label of a "socialist". What matters is the issues he/she stands for, and how honest he/she is on representing themself in that fashion, and how well he/she is working for those he/she's representing that will get the next president elected. THAT is why Ellison, and so many crowds of voters gathering at Bernie's events are supporting him! Ellison knows that people don't vote for him just because he's a Muslim either. They vote for him because of what he stands for.
It may be too late for Hillary to be a person more about working on issues honestly for the American people, but it wouldn't hurt for her to make an effort to start now, and hopefully by doing so, reunite and empower the party to shut down the divisiveness and lead us to a better era sometime soon when we so sorely need it now.

(11,862 posts)a Catholic could never be president, because he would take his orders from the Vatican...I think that argument is moot?
