Martin O'Malley plans area stops

GRUNDY CENTER | Democratic presidential candidate Martin O’Malley will make his seventh trip to Iowa next week, including stops in northeast Iowa.

He will hold two meet and greets in the area on Friday.

1 p.m. Friday at Kling Memorial Library, 708 7th St., in Grundy Center; and
6 p.m. Friday at Aroma’s Coffee Shop, 105 N. Main St., in Charles City.
During his trip, O’Malley will make stops in Altoona on Thursday and Fort Dodge on Friday morning. Along with his stops, O’Malley will open a new campaign office in Cedar Rapids on Wednesday.

O’Malley, a former governor of Maryland, has made Iowa a priority in his campaigning and will continue to devote significant time here throughout the summer. He is one of five candidates vying for the Democratic nomination and will continue to devote significant time here throughout the summer.
