Just one of many things that Martin O'Malley accomplished for Maryland:

Maryland Kicks Off Application Period For Offshore Wind Development

The Maryland Offshore Wind Energy Act of 2013, which went into effect on June 1, 2013, established a number of provisions for a qualified offshore wind project: It must be located on the outer continental shelf, between 10 to 30 miles off the coast, and in an area designed for leasing by the U.S. Department of the Interior’s Bureau of Ocean Energy Management in consultation with the state.

Then-Gov. Martin O’Malley first introduced the act in January 2013 – his third attempt at establishing offshore wind legislation in the state. His 2011 and 2012 versions of the act were first defeated by the Maryland General Assembly.

and it's so apropos today!!!

Not exactly 'offshore,' but I'm in southern Maryland, it's VERY windy here today, and a neighbor is surely generating something with this!

Another way he could contribute, discussed earlier, help Dem party do it's job, administer a get out the vote program, gather those interested in an achieving party to run for public office, unlike the games dws has been playing.

O'Malley seems to be low on funds right now, to say the least; but I think we will see him campaigning hard for whoever the Democratic nominee turns out to be. He has always campaigned hard for Democrats. He is very loyal to the party. If Sanders were to win, he would campaign hard for him; and he would do the same for Clinton. That is who he is and what he does for Democrats. That is why I believe O'Malley would have been an excellent nominee. He would have had strong coattails down ticket.

And I am still in the "grieving" stage about his candidacy. The MSM and the DNC were so damn unfair to him. And DU wasn't so hot either. But he is bigger than this primary and this election. His character got my support in the first place, and it is his character that keeps me loyal.
