(2,531 posts)Call Veep whatever you want. I was just messing with you before.
I've been on DU from about 2002. I lost my account with the 2016 election day hack. Being that my account was so old, I couldn't determine what email I was using to re-establish my old account.

(6,139 posts)those are not the same so lets stop using these terms interchangeably. Biden is a traditional progressive democrat, not an ideologue or populist. Some on this forum would call Hillary Clinton a moderate whereas she has always been one of the most progressive democrats especially on healthcare, decade ahead of time. The moderate democrats include Claire McCaskill, Donelly, Manchun, etc. That list never included Biden or Clinton.

(7,447 posts)good news for Biden, bad news for others mostly. Buttigieg getting to double digits is nice for him.
Warren and Sanders clearly splitting the progressive vote.
But I don't expect Biden to stay in this rarefied air after the debates start, but certainly, he couldn't really have started in a better position.
