I had no idea. And the subject matter he chose was one Mr. Bernie Sanders. Little did young Pete know that 19 years later he'd be challenging Sanders for the Democratic nomination.

Oh, and this really makes me feel old. Generally speaking, talking politics doesn't make me realize that I'm getting up there in age but seeing Pete Buttigieg as a boy in 2000 reminds me that too many years have gone by.

He's kind of a long shot for Pres but I've heard him interviewed a few times and thought he came across well.

to the following 10 minutes, which is so well thought out. He probably won't be in the running, unless he can rack up the donations, but I really hope he makes the debates (and then who knows what may happen), but then the national exposure may give him a shot at a Senate run in 2022 ?
