Democratic Primaries

Sen. Bernie Sanders said Friday that he hasnt spoken to Hillary Clinton for advice on the 2020 race, and frankly, he isnt interested.
Hillary and I have fundamental differences and thats just what it is, Sanders (I-Vt.) said on "The View."
Multiple news outlets have reported that Clinton has met with 2020 hopefuls to advise on the race. But when asked whether he plans to meet with the former Democratic nominee, Sanders flatly said: I suspect not.
When the Vermont independent announced his candidacy last month, he joined a crowded and diverse field running the gamut on Democratic ideology. Sanders defense of democratic socialism has been a punching back for allies of President Donald Trump and other conservatives, but he enters 2020 largely free of the characterizations as an idealistic fringe candidate of three years ago.

(18,402 posts)She accomplished beating him by 3.7 million votes (or more than 12%) in the primary, and beating Trump by 2.8 million popular votes (more than 2%) in the general. Maybe theres something to be learned from that?
You can stick to your guns or you can win. If your guns werent shooting straight, maybe you need to think about changing them.

(14,249 posts)and as much as I love him, the last time he won a contested primary was 11 years ago in a very different time and space.
Bernies certainty that he has nothing to learn from the woman who won the last round of Democratic primaries AND beat Donald Trump is one of the several reasons hes not going to make it to the general.
