Watching Elizabeth Warren on The Axe Files

I like her.

She reminds me of many of my academic colleagues. Very smart, morally earnest, passionate. Must have been quite an effective classroom presence, one who could inspire students.

Not at all sure she will sell well outside of certain coastal liberal enclaves.

1. I love her. To pieces. But I don't think she will sell well either. And that breaks my heart.

4. If either is the nominee, I think the VP will be non-coastal.

Well, maybe Gulf Coastal. Like Mitch Landrieu.

Maybe Beto. Maybe Bob Casey. Maybe Tammy Baldwin. Maybe Klobuchar. Maybe the governor of Montana or his predecessor.

Probably not Brown, as we can't afford to give up a Senate seat.

But I think O'Rourke is more likely if a Texan is chosen.
