Joe Biden's Rough Week

June 7, 2019 at 9:15 am EDT By Taegan Goddard

First Read: “It started with that sloppy climate plan rollout — the Biden campaign admitting that it forgot to give proper attribution to some passages in it. (The toplines were also almost identical to Beto O’Rourke’s climate plan.)”

“Then came the pile-on from his Democratic rivals after NBC News reported that the former vice president continued to support the Hyde Amendment, which bars federal funds for abortion services except in the cases of rape, incest or to save the life of the mother.”

“And then last night, Biden reversed course, saying he now opposes the Hyde Amendment — after supporting it for decades.”

a good man. But NOT as POTUS. His latest flip-flop makes me sick. An almost 80-year old man does NOT come to his senses in a 24 hour period. His gaffes will be his downfall and he no longer had Barack Obama covering for him. We need NEW and younger blood to defeat drumpf.

I really do love Joe, he's a great guy, he was the best VP in my lifetime, and he has abundant experience, wisdom and expertise that I want him to continue to share publicly with the country and world. But hopefully not as POTUS. To be blunt, we need someone who can serve, with all cylinders firing, for 2 full terms. (That said, if he is the nominee, I will absolutely support him and vote for him).

Smear campaigns did.

Joe is still strong in the polls.

So expect the smears to continue.

Joe Biden remains the most qualified and well-liked both nationally and globally.

Biden really did support the hyde amendment, before he didn't.

He really did put out a climate program that forgot to give proper references.

This is how Joe Biden campaigns. This may be why he's been an unsuccessful presidential candidate two other times.

I don't agree that age is an issue for candidates, but there is nothing new about Joe Biden this time around. He will continue to be the same person he's always been.

Now walked back by him. Yet that’s not good enough.

That’s okay. It’s what negative people do.

It’s just not working. And that’s my point.

Joe on top by double digits. That’s the fact.

primary today, I would vote for:
