I just took it as a subconscious thing that he may have done without realizing it due to the significant height difference. I've seen men of smaller stature take that kind of posture without even realizing it so I'm doubtful he meant anything by it. I'm very short myself so I can relate.

Sometimes there is a tour around the workplace, but generally people do not put their hands on their hips while walking.
