Democratic Primaries
Related: About this forumSuggestion: We have a stickied, and frequently updated Rumor Control thread here.
This might be a way to help combat Russian bots, 4chan edgelords, and other ratfuckers who want us at each other's throats. I suggest a stickied Rumor Control thread.
I suggest that the mods do this, with as little bias as possible. For example, back in 2016, there were lots of rumors about Hillary Clinton's alleged poor health. That turned out to have been started by Russian trolls and their army of bots.
So any time a provably untrue rumor comes out about any of the candidates, along with distortions, half-truths, and propaganda designed to divide us, we need something in the Rumor Control thread to alert people to the bullshit, debunk it, and do it in a non-partisan, positive tone, so we can disarm the circular firing squad.
I don't want a repeat of the Bernie-Hillary wars. We need to keep things competitive, but positive, and stop efforts to get Democrats to sit-out or protest-vote for some third party tool.
We need this sticky thread, updated in an unbiased way, to alert us all to the various attempts to ratfuck us.
Trump must be defeated at all costs, and we need to stay united to do it. We're all Democrats here, no?

And is it only me, or does anyone else feel a lot better about this primary season than 2016? Oh, sure, there's gonna be lots of fighting and competing, but...
1. It's an open field, with lots of great candidates running.
2. There are some rules revisions from the DNC that hopefully will keep things fair, and more importantly, keep things LOOKING fair. So even if your favorite candidate doesn't win, hopefully, there won't be quite so much bad blood this time, and we won't see as many people sitting out or voting for third-party tools.
