Buttigieg triples campaign staff in New Hampshire

MANCHESTER — Days before the first televised debate of the 2020 campaign, Democratic presidential candidate Pete Buttigieg signaled he's all in here by tripling his staff on the ground in the first-in-the-nation primary state, the New Hampshire Union Leader has confirmed.

The six new hires include bringing on as deputy state director a staffer and past campaign aide to Sen. Maggie Hassan, D-N.H.

Victoria Williams will serve as deputy state director.

She most recently was counsel for judicial issues and trade policy and during Hassan's 2016 campaign she was director of operations, compliance and scheduling.
