The debate schedule is once a month until the end of the primary season next year.

The qualifications are interesting.

Second Debate

CNN Democratic Primary Debate

Qualified Candidates: TBD
Qualifications: A candidate will need to either have at least 1 percent support in three qualifying polls, or provide evidence of at least 65,000 individual donations from a minimum of 200 different donors in at least 20 states.

Third Debate

September 12 & 13, 2019
ABC News Democratic Primary Debate
Aired On: ABC, Univision
Live Stream: ABC News Live
Location: TBD

Candidates: TBD
Qualifications: A candidate will need to either have at least 2 percent support in three qualifying polls, or provide evidence of at least 130,000 individual donations from a minimum of 400 different donors in at least 20 states.

...could surpass them in qualifications and knock them out of the top 20 and off the stage.

The more our candidates get to go before the public and lay out our issues, the more those candidates and issues creep into the daily life of people who aren't as politically aware.

Democrats will always win on issues and real issues are complex so having multiple opportunities to present our positions over a longer period of time works in our favor.
