Look. Trump is NEVER going to debate the Dem nominee. NEVER.

It's just not going to happen.

And so the bickering to put forward the one who can take him down in a debate is futile and useless.

A former prosecutor would be better used as Attorney General.

He refused to go, and instead held some "support the troops" rally acting like he was some big patriot, and remember, he had to later be forced to cough up the "donations" he'd collected supposedly for veterans' groups.

He'll probably do that now, do some rally instead and use it to grab money.

last night that I wouldn't bet on him debating any Democrat:

https://www.democraticunderground.com/?com=view_post&forum=1287&pid=177916

This morning I decided to poll other DUers to see what they thought, and it appears most of them agree he isn't likely to debate, or at least won't debate unless he's so far down in the polls he has nothing to lose:

https://www.democraticunderground.com/1287178433

At the moment only 33% of the people who responded believe he'll definitely be willing to debate the nominee.

42% believe he definitely won't.

21% believe maybe he'll debate if he's really losing in the polls.

And 1 DUer who responded thinks he'll agree to a debate and then stomp off the debate stage in a huff when he realizes he can't compete.

wouldn't waste time on debating him anyways. Why should they (the democratic nominee for president)? After all, getting actual concrete facts into the discussion would be near impossible w/ rump and having a timid moderator such as Chuck Todd would ruin the debate. I'd just go along, repeating what can be done for the American people (or needs to be done) and point out all of the falsehoods and lies already spewed out by this admin. and that what's the point, since his admin. lies so much that any 'facts' spewed out by rump are false anyway.

What we all need to be doing is calling rump on his constant lies and falsehoods, day and night, w/ proof to back up our assertions.

As to the DUer who thinks rump will stomp off the stage...yeah, I wouldn't put it pass rump to do this...after all, he does have a temper...
