Stephanie Ruhle Clashes with GOP Strategist For Calling Kamala Far Left: Sounds Like its More Shes Too Black
By Caleb EcarmaJul 8th, 2019, 10:33 am
While on an MSNBC panel on Monday, GOP pollster Chris Wilson said Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA) is too far left for moderate Republicans to vote for in 2020, which host Stephanie Ruhle responded to by asking if it is actually because Harris is too black for those voters.
-snip-
After Wilson described Harris as too far left, Ruhle asked the guest to name one of her policies that is too radical.
Tell me, because it sounds like its more shes just too black, she added.
I mean, thats absurd, Stephanie to go there, Wilson shot back. Bernie Sanders is too old. Why didnt you go there first.
You think theres that much separation ideologically between the three of them, he continued after Rhule conceded that she understands why Bernie and Elizabeth Warren are too far left. I mention them they are the three front-runners. Thats why I brought that up. If you only go through each one Kamala Harris position. She took a position against private insurance which most Americans are against.

(22,143 posts)party that granted 83% of all tax breaks to those who didn't need it, all the while ignoring the vast majority of tax payers.
Also, the republican party has constantly tried to take away health care (ACA) without having a replacement available.
If being too far left is being concerned w/ the financial health and financial welfare of fellow Americans, than so be it.
The republican party no longer represents the average American in the street, never did, never will. And anything that runs contrary (that is, picking the pockets of billionaires), is not acceptable.

(12,558 posts)But it got her some attention, which i'm sure she likes, and is likely the reason she did it anyway.
Watching the video makes it even more nonsensical. He names the THREE top contenders as "too far left" & Rhule picks the one thats 1/2 black and makes that accusation.
