Is he an Independent or what?
He needs to work on getting that ad down to a shorter length.

(5,445 posts)and he is running on a very progressive (in the traditional sense) anti-corporate vision. Bernie and Elizabeth will be in direct competition with him.

(1,713 posts)I lean O Rourke but there is an appealing element to Tom Steyer. A passionate environmentalist that isnt afraid to take on Trump with bare knuckles. He supports decriminalizing unauthorized border crossings and expanding the size of the Supreme Court, as well as, a government health care option to the current private system. Tom puts his money where his mouth is and an outsider does have an appeal to a lot of people. I dont necessary fault him for his wealth as he seems to use it to fight the good fight. I dont think he has much of a chance in the primary but I welcome him, his message and his willingness to take on the President.

(37,648 posts)And the health care ideas.
But no one who wants open borders is going to win the GE, IMO. There is little taste for that among the voting masses, even those on the left.
