What's the harm in at least listening to what she has to say? It doesn't mean she'll be voting for Marianne in the primary.

People have a right to run for whatever they want, and people have a right to vote for whomever they choose.

But the message she is delivering needs to be heard now just as much as it ever has. We need to change hearts and minds over time in order to move away from an extremely punitive minded justice system, consideration of the heath of the whole moving forward, and to be healthier as a society. I applaud and support her message. I applaud and support the manner in which she is carrying herself.
