Texas Primary Poll by YouGov/CBS: Biden 27, O'Rourke 17, Warren 16, Sanders 12, Harris 12

Buttigieg and Castro are at 4% while everyone else is at 1% or less.

Reallocating delegates after eliminating those with less than 15% would show Biden receiving 45% of the delegates, O'Rourke receiving 28% and Warren receiving 27%.

Survey was conducted between July 9 and July 18.

that puts Biden at 45%, O'Rourke at 28% and Warren at 27%. No other candidates will be awarded delegates.

If so, and only Democrats are polled, these results may not be very reliable.

7. Yes, independents and Republicans can vote in the Texas primary,

but if they do then they cannot vote in runoff elections for Republicans after the primary. That could discourage them if there are close races expected down ballot.

Thus far, I believe that Cornyn hasn't drawn any serious challengers in the Senate race. However, the local elections could persuade some not to enter the Democratic party, while other may not be willing to wear the "badge of shame" by voting in the Democratic primary. I could envision that some Republicans might raid the primary and vote for Beto if they think that it will extend the primaries for BIden or whomever is leading at the time. There isn't a large amount of crossover votes though.

people would quit diminishing their campaigns by pushing the dumb call for Beto to run for Senate. If those people cared about that race they would support one of the women running.

But virtually no mention at all of Biden. I don't know who is being polled but according to people who are out canvassing in dark red districts it shows Beto would win in Texas. These canvassing teams are out every single week and they knock on ALL doors, not just likely Democratic voters. I don't think Biden would take Texas but I am convinced Beto would.

then we have a Democratic president! I still believe that Beto can flip some other red states which would expand the lead.

I think he is the only one who can really bring out a massive amount of new voters. I actually think that is why he isn't doing better in polls. New and young voters don"t get polled. I think when actual votes come in people are going to be shocked.
