"Medicare as you know it will be gone."
"Todays Medicare would be forced to die."

When something dies, it's gone.

Trump said the first... Biden said the second
"Medicare for all would really be Medicare for none."
"All the Medicare you have ...is gone."

If none of our citizens get Medicare, then medicare is gone.

using only snippets of Biden's statements when the full statement had an entirely different meaning.

Biden did not attack Sanders but stated how "Medicare for all" is flawed.

Attacking "ideas" and "policies" is called debate.

Attacking a person with ad hominem tactics is called "mud slinging"

Sun Jul 21, 2019, 06:07 PM

disruptive individual, who with all his years in Congress has very little to show for it.

Outside his little circle, I don’t think they realize how much disgust he has created among Democrats, which is why his numbers don’t move beyond his base

By appointing Jill Stein supporters to high positions in his campaign, who not only voted for Stein, but encouraged others to do likewise, he has essentially spit in the face to all those Democrats who voted for the Democratic nominee in 2016, and that is remembered, and why he won’t be the nominee

10. "I think {Kamela Harris'} statements, campaign are smoke and mirrors"
Sun Jul 21, 2019, 06:12 PM
Jul 2019

That's from Dick Harpootlian, a Biden campaign surrogate, according to

https://thehill.com/homenews/campaign/453962-harris-faces-pressure-to-define-policy-proposals

You know what? It's a campaign.

BTW, here's the pledge:

I pledge to:

1. Make the primary constructive. I’ll respect the other candidates and make the primary election about inspiring voters with my vision for the future.

2. Rally behind the winner. I’ll support the ultimate Democratic nominee, whomever it is -- period. No Monday morning quarterbacking. No third-party threats. Immediately after there’s a nominee, I’ll endorse.

3. Do the work to beat Trump. I will do everything in my power to make the Democratic Nominee the next President of the United States. As soon as there is a nominee, I will put myself at the disposal of the campaign.

I don't think criticizing your opponent on policy (before there is a winner) breaks the pledge. Especially if you have facts to back up what you're saying. We don't all need to be clutching our collective pearls at every policy-based slight.

Mon Jul 22, 2019, 01:50 AM
Jul 2019

He attacked Biden's person by comparing him with Trump. In a debate competition, using such tactics would disqualify a team.

Furthermore, the Nina Turner game show was fundamentally dishonest by using snippets of Biden's statements without using the entire statement which had an entirely different meaning.

On Democratic board for promoting Democrats, a life-long Democrat who has served the country honorably and with grace is being attacked by angry people who voted for Jill Stein using dishonesty ... and it is being cheered on by people who also probably voted for Jill Stein so their messiah would get a second shot at the presidency.

Where are the decency, honesty and debating skills of the Bernie campaign? Or in the slogans and slander driven world there is no room for an honest debate?
